I'm a mechanical engineering student at George Washington University with a focus on hands-on design, manufacturing, and system integration. I've spent the past year leading GW's Baja SAE team, where I guided a young and growing team through the design and build of an off-road vehicle. Stepping into the role of captain early in my college career was a challenge that taught me how to balance technical work with leadership, problem-solving, and adaptability. This year, I'm continuing on the team as drivetrain lead, where I'll be focusing more deeply on mechanical design, power transmission, and performance optimization.
Beyond Baja, I work as a student machinist in GW's machine shop, supporting fabrication for research and student projects. I also assist with propulsion system development as an undergraduate researcher in the GW Micropropulsion and Nanotechnology Lab, where I've contributed to component manufacturing and will be helping with satellite design in the coming semester.
I'm most energized by projects where things don't work perfectly the first time — where I get to dive into the details, iterate on designs, and figure out how to make systems better through hands-on testing and refinement.
